Electronic Time Reporting Test
Human Services Department (HSD) & the Managed Care Organizations (MCO’s) have mandated the use of an electronic time reporting system by Personal Care Attendants (PCA’s) to track and record Personal Care Services (PCS) for every Medicaid eligible Member throughout the state of New Mexico. In compliance with the HSD and MCO’s, Inteli-Care, LLC (IC) employees are required to use the AuthentiCare® Electronic Visit
Verification (EVV) System to check in and check out daily according to the member’s Individualized Plan of Care (IPoC) schedule. Each reported visit documents:
- Time of service provided for each member as allocated by the members IPoC
- A record of the Activities of Daily Living (ADL’s) provided to the member
- Documented proof that the all services were provided in the member’s home of record
This is a legally binding mechanism used to verify hours worked and to assure services have been delivered as allocated in the member’s IPoC schedule.
